Direct-client project
Direct client: Bongoroots, a vegan Afro-Caribbean Restaurant and catering service in Tübingen, Germany.
I tried to capture the rich and satisfying taste of afro-caribbean cuisine, combining it with one of my original characters Bort, representing a healthy and positive veggie lifestyle. I did everything (Animated in Flash, Comp & Motion Graphics in After Effects). Sound Design & Music by my brother Robin Stummvoll. Though this is one of my older animation projects, I’m still enjoying the energy and dynamic of it.
The short clip was Official Selection at Pictoplasma 2012, the only festival I submitted it to back then.

This project was approached in a pretty straight forward method. I only did a 12-panels beatboard and did my rough animation parallel to compositing, updating the animation as it progressed.
